Joins us for our first-ever inclusion fair, where we'll have stations set up throughout the building to help you and your family gain a better understanding of this valued part of our community.
Being a good friend and neighbor means learning how children and adults with disabilities use different tools to walk, talk, see and hear. Joins us for our first-ever inclusion fair, where we'll have stations set up throughout the building to help you and your family gain a better understanding of this important and valued part of our community. Attendees will have a chance to:
* Meet certified therapy dogs and learn how they help kids and adults
* Learn and play with adaptive toys that have been re-imagined so kids with disabilities can enjoy them
* Learn about speech-generating and augmentative and alternative communication devices that help people share their thoughts and feelings more easily
* Touch and feel Braille books and learn more about the Ohio Library for the Blind & Print disabled
* Explore and try equipment like adaptive bikes and sports wheelchairs
And more! Complete your Inclusion Fair Passport by visiting all of our stations, and you will be entered to win a $100 gift card to either Sir Troy's Toy Kingdom or Book-a-Million. This event is open to all ages, but will be geared towards children who are 18 months old to 12 years old with their families.
