“Watercolor Landscapes” adults and high school students -eight week session
Mondays, September 13, 20, 27, October 4, 11, 18, 25 and November 1 from 3 to 5 p.m.
This watercolor class is for everyone at every level wanting to learn new techniques and paint the buildings and landscapes. Students will create a landscape while the instructor leads them through the basics of material layout and design as well as watercolor painting techniques. This class has a requested supply list available online and in the library’s information center. Instructor: Jack Fetzer
Watercolor Landscapes Supply List
If you have painted previously bring your usual supplies. If you are a beginner, you will need the following supplies.
Tubes of student grade watercolors: Van Dyke Brown, Cerulean Blue, Raw Sienna, Cad Red, Olive Green and Ultra Marine Blue
Brushes, synthetic or sable: #6 round, #8 round, #6 rigger and 1" flat
Other supplies: Plastic palette for mixing, 2 sheets of 30x22 (140 lb) watercolor paper we cut one sheet into 4 pieces (11x15), Masking fluid, 16 x 20 piece of plexiglass, masonite or stiff cardboard, 3/4 " drafting tape, HB or 2B pencil & eraser
Are classes open to everyone?
Yes! But you must have a North Canton Public Library card to register.

Classes are now FREE!!!
Do I need to bring my own supplies?
Supplies are provided for all classes unless otherwise specified in the class description.
How do I register for a class?
Children’s art class registration is accepted online only at ncantonlibrary.org. Adult art class registration may be completed online or email the gallery curator at gallery@northcantonlibrary.org.
