Library to Go: Holiday Drive Event kit for kids #2

Sign up to pick up a kit for the Monday through Friday before each Holiday Drive Event held on Saturdays, December 5, 12, and 19 from 5-7 p.m. Register each child for each week!

Register to pick up a kit the week before (Monday through Friday) each Holiday Drive Event held on Saturdays, December 5, 12, and 19 from 5-7 p.m. The kits are available at the North Canton Public Library and include: Santa Letter Stationery, cocoa packet, cup and lid, candy cane, and a different craft for kids each week. Make your cocoa and bring it on your Drive! Crafts are recommended for ages 3 and up. Register each participating child for each week!

Kit #2 is available December 7-11

ABOUT HOLIDAY DRIVE:

This year’s Winterfest event, featuring the city’s annual tree lighting, will be reimagined as Holiday Drive North Canton, safely bringing holiday magic to our community.

The North Canton Chamber of Commerce and its partners the City of North Canton, the North Canton Public Library and the North Canton Jaycees have made a commitment to maintaining the wonder of our city’s cherished holiday tradition despite the fact that for the first time in 100 years, the community will not gather in a crowd to watch the lighting of the city’s Christmas Tree.

Holiday Drive North Canton is a drive through event that will extend from 7th Street to Waterside on North Canton’s Main Street. For three consecutive Saturdays, December 5, 12 and 19, Main Street will “light up” with holiday merriment from 5-7 p.m.

Those driving on Main Street will find Santa and Mrs. Claus at the town center, choirs singing carols, characters dressed up throughout, and the businesses on Main Street decorated and lit up as we bring as much joy as we can to the community during this difficult time.

Letters to Santa and donations of Toys for Adopt a Family will be collected by the North Canton Jaycees in the on-street parking spaces in front of City Hall.
